Lets face it: the current roster of the Cleveland Cavilers is not a championship team in today’s NBA. There is no way they can compete with the Warriors, and even the Rockets would give them a run for their money in a seven game series. Although Kyrie Irving wouldn’t be the ideal player to trade away, if the Cavs want a shot at another championship, something has to change. This same thing happened to them last offseason, when after winning it all they failed to add significant new talent for the next year, while Golden State added the second best player in the NBA. Cleveland needs to shake things up: if this means trading Kyrie Irving or Kevin Love, then they must do it. Showing LeBron they’re not content with getting to the finals every year is a must if they want him to stay after this season.
